For ten years Lena taught in a parochial school. One tiny little person brightened each day as she welcomed kindergarten children to her classroom. Sister Mary was in her 70's and showed not the slightest tendency toward retirement. Her classroom was a sparkling place. All of the children loved her. The Nun is not Sister Mary, but in the story Lena spins, the nun embodies all of the same giving attitude Lena witnessed observing Sister Mary. Lena's reminds us in this short vignette to never forget those who serve. Their sweet souls nourish our very being.
