The Old Orchard Cottage is a small home with big charms. As you approach the front entrance you'll notice the carefully carved wooden spindle handrail and rustic farmhouse lights. Truly a great place to sit and enjoy a quiet sunset or a morning coffee/Tea.

As you walk through the elegant front doorway you find yourself in the great room. The centerpiece is a lovely fireplace with old stone chimney making its way up to the peak of the cathedral ceiling. Cracked off plaster reveals the old stone underneath, a hint of the old roots of the home. As you glance up you will notice the wood beam construction and delicate lantern style chandelier that hangs above. Subtle shading on all walls give a soft and warm feel to the interior.

Moving on into the kitchen you are greeted with a beautiful traditional rustic ceiling fan. Constructed of cast iron, the patina reveals its age. Gold leaf garlands adorn the motor housing giving it an air of elegance.

From the kitchen you make your way through the double french doors out to the back stoop. Relax under the pergola adorned with whimsical string lights, a magical place. Picture yourself here on a warm summer night, cold drink, music in the background, watching as the fireflies dance in the meadows.

The large master bedroom features a traditional drop ceiling supporting a single dome light version of the same beautiful ceiling fan we encountered in the kitchen. Four sash windows provide just the right mix of light with wall space for decor and furniture.

Next to the Bedroom is a smaller room featuring an interesting take on a coffered ceiling. Each recessed panel is semi transparent to allow for the light to sift through when turned on. A fun and unique lighting solution that you can craft to your taste with a multitude of color options and brightness levels.

The third and final room, great for office or library, features a cathedral ceiling with barrel style wood beam supports. centered in the ceiling sits another lovely single dome light ceiling fan. A large arched window is the centerpiece of the room. The perfect room for some lazy Sunday afternoon reading.
