Thylacoleo carnifex is an extinct species of marsupial carnivores from the pleistocene. It was about the size of a male leopard, although it was much heavier. Sometimes know as the "marsupial lion", It remains the largest marsupial predator known to science
It probably fed on other australian megafauna such as diprotodons. Its closest living relatives are wombats and koalas.
This species became extinct some 40 000 years ago.
This is one of the most uniquelarge carnivores and will be a great addition to your wildlife sim, zoo or parcel. Can't have prehistoric australia without one :)
Enjoy!
