★ This is to disperse the seam between a mesh body and a system head so that there is not a big horizontal line. I have only tried this with Maitreya because that's the mesh body I have. (I'd be interested to know how it goes with other bodies.)
★ Maitreya users: DO use your built in neck fix function in addition to this tattoo. Turn neck fix on before you start tinting so you can see what's a problem area and what's not.
★ Add the neck blender tattoo.
★ In edit outfit mode, edit the tattoo layer.
★ Tint the tattoo to suit your needs. The base texture is white so you can tint it to any color.
★ Note that the color of the tattoo is consistent around the neck and may not match variation in your mesh body's skin: When tinting the tattoo, I wore my long hair that I usually wear and focused on making the tint so that it matches most closely on the front of the neck and under the chin, which was my biggest problem area.
★If you have shaved hair or a mohawk and use a cropped hairbase tattoo, make sure to layer this tattoo underneath your hair tattoo because it does climb up the back of the head to diffuse the horizontal line.
★ Good luck!
Includes: Tattoo layer for system head/neck, and a NC with the above tips.
Styling: I am wearing an old system skin called Lovely Dead (with makeup). My Maitreya body is wearing the lightest default skin tone, which I have tinted to match my skin using the Maitreya HUD.
Perfetto!
Problem of the neck solved, grazie!
Love it!
Exactly what I was looking for and works perfect with my maitreya body!
Thank You!!!!
Matching my old skins with mesh bodies was almost impossible, but looks much better now!
