Welcome to Tiny Empires! -- Free Trial --
A new HUD-based game designed exclusively for Second Life residents who don't like to be tied down to one place.
You play Tiny Empires on your HUD with many other players at once, but you don't have to stay in the same location or even the same continent as anyone else! There is no server to set up, and you don't need anything to play except for this HUD.
Tiny Empires is set in medieval England, during the time of feudalism. The goal of the game is to grow your empire by purchasing land, by gaining followers (i.e. other players), and by earning gold. Along the way, you will become caught up in political intrigue, philosophical dilemmas, and a few surprises as well. Keep playing, and you just may become the most influential duchess or duke of the land.
(Note: if futuristic science fiction is more your style, or if you want to join a TE game that is just starting out, please have a look at Tiny Empires 3000)
This is a FREE TRIAL VERSION of the Tiny Empires HUD, which will let you play for free for a while. If you want to continue playing after the trial expires, you simply teleport to the included Landmark and pay the vendor to upgrade yourself to the Full version.
When you "buy" this free item, you will receive the Tiny Empires game HUD. Just attach it to your HUD (Right-click, select Wear) and the game is on! Don't worry: if you logout of Second Life or detach the HUD, it will remember who you are the next time.
Inside the HUD inventory you will find a notecard containing the game guide, and a landmark to a vendor where you can upgrade to a full version. There is a bug in SL that disallows you from reading the game guide embedded inside the HUD. Come to my shop and click the vendor for a copy of the game guide. To find my shop go here http://slurl.com/secondlife/kitster/145/41/53/ or just search for "ultralite" in the People tab of the SL search window
Don't bother
Just go around the Blake Sea and see the dozens of bots there daily from people gaming this thing.
You can report them to Ultralite Soleil but he doesn't care, because the more "people" are in it, the more active it will seem...
And so the lowest common denominator in this "game" is having an army of alts that you make and maintain solemnly to prop up your main avatar, you need them logged in day and night and you check on them every so often to make sure it all stills works, day after day after day...
All for what you might ask? Well let me tell you... NOTHING, no one cares about this other than the VERY few people in it since most users are just bots, the quintessential "I'm kind of a big deal" meme.
Here wishing this thing disappears to clear away the Blake Sea and other protected waterways for this plague.
Algorithms are off tremendously
This "game" is geared for a female character, and the algorithms are off tremendously, the offers will stop while others continue. Don't waste your linden on this garbage. If I could rate this less than a star, I would.
Nice game
Wish the store would actually sell all the versions on mp as I hate going to main land where its laggy just to get a new hud or upgrade!
No
another game where the rich benefit greatly..
Completely Pointless
Tiny Empires is a cute little text-based game that takes place on a HUD. I'd explain the rules, but basically you just grow your little kingdom, move up in rank and the rinse and repeat. All in text.
Wasting my time with TE felt a lot like logging in to World of Warcraft to play Pong.
Tiny Empires is a role play game of sabotage and "Lie PLay" per Patsy Linden
This is a horrible game that has adults acting like children. Most real people quit playing within a month. There are many that have 100's or even 1000's of alts. The roads and oceans of Second Life are full of bots being used to cheat and defeat the timer. Linden and the maker are aware of this but allow it for some. Linden must enjoy the FRAUD traffic. Stay away from this game, it is drama and SL is filled with evil alts
