INFO:-----------------------------------------------------------
These are new texture sets (skins!) for the Titchy Mouse Avatar
made by Sweecah of *CABS*
*** THE AVATAR IS NOT INCLUDED! Duh :) Go buy one!
Each texture set comes with
Head
Body
HandPaw
FootPaw
Tail
Base (for arms, legs, neck, anything else)
And scripts for quick application of them, with no work! (Well, it was work for me, making these scripts, I'll tell you!!)
INSTRUCTIONS:-------------------------------------------------
1: MAKE A COPY of your Titchy Mouse ("TM") avatar. And/or know where your original box is, in case you need to unpack a new one!
2: You can throw your TM pieces on the ground, or wear them. (If you throw them on the ground, when you pick them up, they will be no mod in your inventory. Rename them before picking them up!)
3: Drag the appropriate Applier Script into each body part. Head goes in the Head, Body goes in the... I really think you can figure this out!?!?
3a: If you can't drag for some reason, Right click and Edit the body part, then drag the Script to the Content tab.
4: Wait a moment, and the new textures should appear. The script will self destruct, so no need to fuss with it further.
SHININESS:-------------------------------
The Appliers don't adjust the shine. If you want to make your eyes and noses shiny like the example pictures... Edit your head and turn on "Edit Linked."
NOSE:---------
Click the nose to select it
On the Texture Tab, click the Shine radio button.
Click on the blank grey X'd out texture swatch, and press the Blank button.
This will activate the shine controls.
Set the Glossiness to 22 and Environment to 0.
EYES:---------
Use the arrow buttons next to the Link/Unlink buttons until you see the eye texture; that's the easiest way to select the eyes.
Activate the Shine controls as above.
Set the Glossiness to 0 and Environment to 22.
Experiment with these settings and how they look in your sim's Windlight environment!
OOPS:--------------------------------------------------
IF something goes wrong...! Well, you were working on a copy, weren't you!?
If you threw the wrong script in (the Body script into an Arm for example), just throw in the correct script.
If nothing changes, make sure you are in an area that allows scripts to run.
Edit your Body Part (and make sure the script is still in there, and hasn't self destructed), then go to the Build Menu: Scripts: Set Scripts to Running.
If that doesn't work, try Build Menu: Scripts: Reset Scripts.
If all else fails, you can manually (gasp!) apply the textures.
HEAD goes on both heads (blinking and open-eyed), and the nose. (Lower the horizontal scaling on the nose to make the smooth part cover it.) (If you have a House or Field mouse, you may also use a base colour on the nose.)
The EYE texture will go on the eyes. Duh.
BODY = Body TAIL = Tail
BASE: okay, listen up!
This goes on the Arms, Legs, and Neck. (That half sphere thing on the bottom of your head.)
When you do the Arms and Legs, make sure you are in "Select Face" mode, so you don't also texture the paws. Then, *without touching anything else*, set the Horizontal Offset to -.5
The Neck settings are these:
.6
.7
(whatever repeats it calculates)
0
-.6
-.5
HAND goes on both hand paws. Use Select Face!
FOOT goes on both foot paws. Same Deal!
Good Luck!
--Enjoy!
