Total Land Access! Prevent people ENTERING your land! Version 1.0

THE PROBLEM:

Regular security orbs rely on the scripts to detect avatars and then ejecting them when they are found on your land.

A laggy sim could mean avatars getting onto your land before the scripts have a chance to act upon them (giving them enough time to take compromising photos and send it to all your friends!). Clever avatars can also adjust their computer to prevent new connections to other sims (through special firewall changes). So, when a regular orb script attempts to teleport them home, they won't be able to reach the other sim, leaving them on your parcel.

THE SOLUTION:

This script, prevents unauthorised avatars from even being able to enter your land, or select/editing any prims or items inside it. They will also have ban lines that reach high to the top of your parcel.

This script is a no-nonsense, no frills script, and all you have to do is put it in a cube/prim and let it do the work.

Access to your land will be controlled through a notecard that you create (instructions provided when the script loads) with a list of people (including yourself!) that can access your land.

IMAGES:

The images shown are what a parcel would look like to someone approaching it - ban lines from the ground, all the way up into the sky (beyond the regular 100m ban line height!) to the top of the parcel and even higher. The highest point recorded for the ban lines are 5000m (the last image illustrates what it looks like).

If an avatar flys over the top at this ridiculous height and starts lowering down, will will be unable to go lower than 5000m on your parcel and will still be kept out!

INSTRUCTIONS:

You can put this script into any object that you have modify permissions to. You will also need to create a notecard that will be used to control who is allowed on your land. I would recommend creating this notecard first. It must be named "allowedUsers". For performance reasons, the list of allowed people must be in the form of their UUIDs. You MUST include yourself in this access notecard or it will ban and eject you from your own land!

The script and methods of the access control will be updated over time, so it will be easier in future, don't worry :-)

If your land is deeded to a group, you will need to deed the object that the script is within to the group as well. Change the permissions on the notecard to full modify before deeding the object. You should then be able to set the notecard to share with group afterwards, and still be able to edit the note card (you'll need to ensure the group is activated when you try editing the notecard)

Depending on the viewer, you can also disable ban lines from showing up using the menu World > Show > Ban Lines
