I am proud to present the Tropical Beach Building Set. This set is all about realistically merging green tropical lands to white sand beaches. It allows you to create a rich level of detail which cannot be achieved using just SL terrain.
Gentle waves lap on to the contours of the sloping beach and darken the sand. The sound of waves washing takes you far away.
There are 7 main beach pieces in the set, each includes sand, animated wave and sound - all meshed together for a detailed and realistic effect.
The set is designed for both large scale sim projects and smaller projects too - optimised pieces are included to give you best best prim count/ physics at different sizes.
Physics are accurate so you can walk on the beach sections without falling through or hitting barriers.
In the box:
7 main beach pieces - with mapped animated waves and sound
64 meters - 10 to 13 li (prims) for each beach/ wave section.
or
32 meter - 4 to 6 li for each beach/ wave section.
1 Grassy Outcrop - 1 li (for linked pair)
plus a sea bed section
Note these pieces are optimised to give accurate physics at supplied size and make the best of SL's systems - you can use 32 or 64 meters depending on your scale. Use the size closest to you final size - ie do not use a 32m section scaled up to 64 meters or vice versa.
Please note that size changes to mesh items can result in an increased prim count.

Beautiful once you get the hang of it.
Not perfect, but can be made to look quite realistic. This is not a Lego set you snap together. You will need to build up the area behind the vegetation a bit, and as noted by the creator this is meant to be beach in front of lush vegetation. My only complaint would be the sharp edge out in the ocean away from the beach, created by the incoming waves, and honestly I just hid it with spray and it looks fine. The trick IMO, is to be generous in placement of grasses and trees, and be casual. Little things like tree shadows, and rocks really help make the scene.

This was what I needed to make a beach on my parcel. I love the waves and the sounds. It is really nice. The only thing I don’t like is the huge bump where the sand should meet the parcel. It was really hard for me to work with and still doesn’t fit my parcel the way I would like. It would have been better to include some variation.
not good for 64m straight
really nice texturing, but i find myself unable to make a straight 64m beach with these without pieces clipping trough each other really badly and causing an ugly end result.
