Over the road drivers appreciate trucks designed for economy, dependability, and success. Logistar truck has been specially designed for successful cargo delivery on SL mainland roads, so you can easily "Get'er Done" as you planned and go quickly to next delivery. It is all you need to enjoy in-world freight delivery.
Logistar is popular with SL drivers since first introduced in 2018. A customer said, "I would like to let you know that the truck, the Logistar, it's wonderful. It will drive over anything, rock steady." Another said: "Drives just like I wished. It's a great truck." Yet another customer told me, "Having a blast, thank you!!! Love!"
Version 9.0 release date was May 4, 2025. Box contains two versions of truck. One has latest GTFO! freight delivery script preloaded so it is ready to go make deliveries. Second is same truck without GTFO! game scripting.
Logistar is easy to drive. 10 forward gears (15 to 60) and three reverse. Up/down key to change forward speeds. For reverse speeds key "low" or "normal" or "high" in open chat or /3 chat to select reverse gear you want.
You will love "Active Steering." My carefully designed algorithm adjusts handling to each speed you select. When you change speeds truck accurately gives you a private message with new gear speed, mps power, and my coefficient for active steering.
Engine starts when driver sits. Key 'stop' or 'start' in open chat or private /3 chat to turn engine on or off. All operations also stop when driver stands. Engine sound is realistic for truck of this size, there is smooth idle sound, and a "beep-beep" classic back up warning sound when you go into reverse.
Key 'hold' or 'release' in chat or private chat /3 to use the cruise control at the speed you select.
Front and rear turn signals operate when you touch keys to turn left or right. Brake lights signal slowing to stop.
Headlights work with SL Advanced LIghting System. Touch yellow button on dashboard to use. Be sure to activate advanced lighting in viewer graphics preferences.
To sound truck horn key "h" in open chat or /3 private chat. To sound "beep" key "b". When driving vehicles be sure you check "avatar position" in viewer sound preferences for best effects.
Logistar has working rear cargo doors, cab doors, a working cargo loading ramp from truck to ground on touch. Doors have sound effect on open/close. Key "hood" in /3 chat to open or close front hood revealing turbo diesel engine.
Touch to link edit rear license plate for plate change menu. Three sample plates are loaded to get you started. Drop up to 9 of your own (1024x512) plate textures in license plate contents. Keep plate names to under 12 characters to appear fully on menu buttons. A full permission sample blank plate is included in box. You can do same with your own logos on each side cargo container.
Place your own cab door logos in same manner. Full perm blank door textures are included. Contact me if you need texture designing and making assistance.
Cargo container features choice of 10 BP and PBR matching colors. Change container colors by keying color name in /3 chat. For example say "brown" in /3 chat. Standard BP colors are: white, red, blue, yellow, orange, green, olive, teal, purple, and brown. Remainder of truck is standard army green finish with black frame.
Key commands to choose among five follower views: "v1" gives view from behind, "v2" is view is to right of driver's head, "v3" is driver's view over steering wheel, "v4" is center of truck just in front of windshield (mouselook over hood), and "v5" is super view from behind and above (perfect for loading docks and relaxing over the road).
Logistar features AV Sitter to adjust position for driver and passenger. Touch spare tire for on-screen rescale menu if needed. Both driver and passenger can select from four other poses beyond in-cab seats. They are: check tire, check engine, fill gas tank, and relaxed seat on front fender.
This is approved GTFO! vehicle. VAPI code and API are script installed. VAPI code is: LLLOGISTAR. Specifications are: Larsson Logistar | Capacity: 3 Heavy Crates (900 FU | Overhead: G$0 per kilometer.
Notice three freight crates inside cargo area. Three more items will be loaded and unloaded automatically for you as you accept and deliver GTFO! freight loads.

Great Freight Truck!
This isn't a fancy truck, it doesn't have a ton of special features, not even working instruments. If that's what you want, look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you want a truck that handles well even at higher speeds, crosses sims well even at higher speeds, and looks good, this is the truck you want. It comes with a basic camera hud and that's it. The doors on the back open if you want that. Otherwise, this is just an amazing vehicle to drive along the roads and explore. The scripting is custom, not ACS, and it doesn't have the twitchiness in steering that a lot of vehicles exhibit. Considering the price, this can't get anything less that 5 stars. I'd really suggest considering this as well as the Mainlander ATV (Jeep) which is priced similarly, has the same scripting, and is just as much fun.

Much of what I suggested was quickly put in place so I have reevaluated the current version and continue to feel this is clearly worthy of 5 stars.
Not new to driving nor GTFO so using my experience for this review. Most of the time I do GTFO by Air and Sea, but wanted to try something new and this seemed the perfect way to test how GTFO is over land and I did not want to spend a lot in case something I did not like it keeping in mind how trying driving in SL can be for many reasons. All that said I was happily surprised after doing a few runs. Besides the great price I like the fact the size is right for normal average height/size people I am 5'5 (I see some makers make things that will only fit people 6'+). The scripting does a good job keeping you upright, I never went over using view(s) by the truck or supplied camera/view HUD. I also like the fact the truck is mod minus the scripts of course. Some ideas for improvement.... Would be nice to have the included textures full mod because with non-trans SL will not allow customers to download them which is needed if customer wish to mod them outside SL which is needed to put a logo or something on them. Blank template for logo on truck would be nice. Not going to mention adding animations because that I would consider a major job and would not feel comfortable suggesting that for something that sells for only $L400 currently. Very nice work and again I Highly recommend.
Pretty Legit Vehicle
If you're anything like me. Your first concern is is this yet another ACS vehicle. I can assure you, no.
The coding is in fact pretty legit. The vehicle crosses regions at a reasonable speed, roughly 1 second a region cross which is pretty acceptable. If you're playing GTFO you want region crossings to not suck since you are going to do a lot of those on a time limit. This will give you not-suck on region crossings, so you can get those deliveries in on time without freaking out.
It handles like you'd expect from a truck. Default cam is first person, there is an included view control HUD that lets you toggle the view around.
At 400 lindens the price is under 2 USD. This is real cheap and pretty decent. You ought to buy it.
