Fashion in the period 1500–1550 in Western Europe is marked by voluminous clothing worn in an abundance of layers. Contrasting fabrics, slashes, embroidery, applied trims, and other forms of surface ornamentation became prominent. The tall, narrow lines of the late Medieval period were replaced with a wide silhouette, conical for women with breadth at the hips and broadly square for men with width at the shoulders. Sleeves were a center of attention, and were puffed, slashed, cuffed, and turned back to reveal contrasting linings.

This costume set attempts to recreate the Tudor look as accurately as possible. There is a core dress, with sleeves and accessories which you can use to recreate an outfit from the Early Tudor period (King Henry the VIII) and the Middle Tudor period (the youth of Queen Elizabeth.)

The skirt can be worn with or without train. The Early Tudor outfit has voluminous sleeves with a built in animation, and a pair of extra posing animations have been included as well for a touch of variety. Included are period headgear, collars, shoes, and a non-scripted stick fan. WIGS ARE NOT INCLUDED (but I've included a style card which will tell you where to buy them.)

The costume also includes a belt with a resizer script. If you want to make the belt modifyable, you can delete the resizer script via click on menu (make sure you've made a copy of the belt before you do this.)

Please feel free to IM Amethyst Dominica if you have any questions about my work. You can find other colors of this gown and a fatpack here on my Marketplace (as well as fans, ruffs, and other Renaissance accessories) Thanks for looking!
