Just okay, not great
It's okay, IF you use it set to a small distance like 10 meters, otherwise the particles spread out so much they are near impossible to see. The 50 meters is almost impossible to see at all and totally worthless, but the 30 and 10 meters are -okay-, 10 meters only making them the most visible.
Simple and works.
It's just a basic particle emitter with glowy yellow "fireflies" that blink on and fade out. It's cute and does what I want it to. The base is a bit difficult to re-find once it's transparent, but choosing Build -> Select Build Tool -> Edit Tool allows you to trace a rectangle that will pick it up if you know the general area you left it. It would be nice to have a chat command to re-show the base.
Maybe a LITTLE overpriced, but I can't say I didn't know what I was buying. *shrug*

Growing up in the Midwest I have very fond memories of watching "lighting bugs" aka fireflies light up the night. Turnip has manage to capture that same magic with these fireflies. Thank you Turnip for giving me a piece of my rl home into my sl one :)
Very pretty.. but beware...
The firefly affect is really pretty when set at a suitable range for viewing. If you set it on any range higher than 30 meters the particles are hard to notice if you have a big area to cover. However, since the generator is only 1 prim and copiable, you can set out as many as you need. Overall, very happy with my purchase! =D
Noooooot worth it
They resemble a particle effect.....not fireflies and while it is a particle...it should at least move, flow and glow like they advertise....not flash like blinking lights. Color is off and the picture advertising them has been greatly enhanced. Save your linden..look elsewhere.
Perfect for Summer
Nothing says "summer is here" like fireflies. Adding these little beauties to my land brought an unexpected touch of realism and wonder. So thrilled!
