UNISEX[MANDALA]STEKING_ears_ver3 (wear me to unpack)

I wrote an initial review saying I wanted just the jewelry. Now I'm all in. With my Catwa head it was easy. Now that I have bought a LeLutka head...I could not figure out how to fit the large gaping hole in my head...well guess what. You can make the size small, instead of making your earls like elephant ears. There was a comment about this...don't listen to this..these ears are so well made and easy to color and size up. thanks

I am very pleased with my ears. I'm not the most savviest person on SL but I was able to reduce the size, match my skin color, and place them correctly.

Well frankly this app is going to make a rather technically flawless Bento Head (the Lelutka) into a more primitive, and quite frustrating adventure. My Lelutka "Cate" is one of the easiest mesh setups out there. And the most amazing thing about the Lelutka is how it matches and loads skin, and totally eliminates the need for "fixing" the neck.

On the other hand the Mandala will remind you how impossible it is to match skin. And unless your head is exactly the same on both sides (which mine is not) you will never quite get it right.

But the real issue is that the ears are GI-NORMOUS, really almost twice the size of the original. They are a nice shape and are far more realistic than the Cate ears, but I you had a friend with Mandala sized ears he would have been teased a lot.

Add to that size the almost impossible to imagine reality that ALL of the piercings are permanent. There are just too many, I have seen a lot of multiple piercing, but nothing where there are so many different types on one ear. I just looks silly.

The ears must be put in place using "edit" which leaves a lot to be desired. For some reason the designer glosses over this fact. And he keeps referring to a "color picker," as though it is magic, so I spent hours looking for and reading articles to see if there was an eyedropper, since matching was in the cards.

So let's be honest, this little pair of ears will only set you back about $2 in real money so it's no big deal if you don't like it. And if you do, and there seem to be many positive reviews, then you will be happy. I took the ears off and never looked back, they are in my files if I ever want them. But very unlikely, just too big and fussy.

If I wanted a large number of piercings, for a Goth look, I would more likely turn to "suicidal unborn" or the like.

impossible to get my skin tone. The hud doesn't work. I have to click 10 times on a button to get one more tone.. there are 3 buttons (same model as maitreya hud), so i abandoned.
Ears are now in my inventory. I don't want to throw them because of the price but...

Maybe an update of the hud might be a good idea....
