Now includes a differently shaped head for people that dont have the patience to customize their avatars, this shape has a smaller face (that will hopefully look better with lots of more hairs) and a less pointy chin, the mouth and nose were also lifted up a little.

Also please note that since this head is rigged mesh, you cannot resize and position it to fit your hair like you could with M3, and because of that it can look really weird with some hairs and fine with others. You just need to find the right hair.
This head is compatible with eyes, eyelashes and blush textures for the M3 heads, but M3 skin textures will not work because of a different UV map. Use the M3 retro loader for older eye/lash/blush texture mods.

The long awaited M4 Bento anime head is here! and now you can be one of the cool kids riding the bento craze wave.
- What is bento and why does it matter? -
For those of you who still dont really know what all this bento hype is about, Bento is a new set of bones that LL has recently implemented into the game, such as face bones, wing bones, tail bones, finger bones and some other bones. These bones are used to animate specific body parts such as the fingers on your hands or the expression of your face, and is what this head uses to animate its face.
The main advantage of using bento bones for anime heads is that there is no more need to have a bunch of invisible meshes for every face expression, using just one mesh to do every expression instead. This in turn greatly reduces the render weight of your avatar, on top of that, anyone can now make expressions and face animations, so you are no longer limited to what is in the HUD.
The disadvantage is that since the head is rigged, it can no longer be scaled and positioned, causing problems with how big your face looks with some of the hairs, and face expressions are sadly somewhat limited due to the way bento bones work, meaning some expressions are just not possible to make without looking really weird or deforming your face.

Fun new look for me!
Just for fun switched back to my Avatar 2.0 and at prompting, picked up this head. Very nice features and good look for the theme. I just wish I could figure out how to match the skin to my Avatar 2.0....
5 stars for quality and everything else
Both head shapes are adorable. I like that I can choose which head to use with hair.
I like the numerous options in the HUD. I like that I can drag the HUD around the screen or change its appearance. The HUD's reset features are great.
The M4 Neck Kemono works fine with the head and Kemono body, but for some reason the M4 Neck conflicts with Rei's Chest where the top part of the Kemono body between the shoulders disappears when I add Rei's Chest on my Kemono. When I reset the invisible part with the Kemono HUD, the M4 neck does not stay seamless so the division between the head and the neck is visible - this same behavior occurs with the Fitted Kemono Torso. Not sure what's causing this issue. I've done undeforming, re-logging, attach/re-attach, etc. But these activities do not fix the issue. However, the M4 neck works fine with ABC Bouncy Boobs.
I would like the neck to work with Rei's Chest and Fitted Kemono Torso. Is the issue caused by something I'm doing from my end? I'm planning to contact the creators of those products but perhaps I'm the only one experiencing this issue or it's probably because SL is wonky today (SL has been having login issues since 8AM this morning and as I'm concluding this review, SL is still currently investigating the issue). Any recommendations on additional steps I need to do concerning this alpha issue with M4 Neck are welcome.
The head's AO works fine and I like the sweet expressions on the head whether neutral, cheerful or wild.
In spite of the the issues mentioned above, this product is great because it's quality made.

good, but
it lack features. the head itself is just amazing... if you use it by itself. as for fitting with kemono... good luck matching the skin to the non-humanoid default colors. and for more complex skins... well, compatibility with all appliers are gone unless you know how to use blender. plus, lack of a white color makes it a nightmare to fine tune the skin tone to the skin you desire(it has pale, but its not white enough for quick color tunning using RBG). it also lacks a few features the previous M3 series had, namely, tears, individual eye roll, and the cute '0' mouth. on the plus side trough, fitting hair and your own head is now is pretty dang easy, you do get a lot (i mean it, A LOT) more customization options, the control hud is literally a thousand times better, the reset textures option is a god-sent, and bento overall is dang gud. was about time!

I'm an old school m2 user.... and yes I'm a dude and I bought this head, for men if your looking to be more of a cute boy this works great! For the ladies my wife has this head and looks so lovely! Amazing work!
It's Great
It's a really great head skin is the perfect tone for me i don't have much trouble fitting hair only problem i had so far was my neck not working on the starbright fitted torso but, might change in the future.
