Ultimate Calf Roping Horse Racing Game

A unique single-player game, the racer chases a wild calf until it has been roped and tied!

The Ultimate Calf Roping Horse Racing Game works with any horse in SL, including breedables and wearables. The included Race Timer is state of the art. You can use this game on any sized parcel, even in a skybox. See you at the rodeo!

When the Race Timer is touched, a calf will appear and the "ready, set, GO!!!" sequence begins. When the Race Timer says "GO!!!" the racer chases the unpredictable calf. Each second that the racer comes within a few meters of the calf it will mooo in protest. Do this enough and he will stop. When the calf stops you will notice a particle rope around his neck. Continue to be near him (dismounting is not necessary) and he will flip over and announce that he has been "roped and tied." The racer then proceeds to the finish line. Chasing this calf is guaranteed to make even your most serious friends look silly! The entire game setup is only 69 prims.

Calf Rezzer Cube
Place the Calf Rezzer Cube a short distance from the starting gate. The calf will run in a circle approximately 40 meters in diameter. Only one Calf Rezzer Cube is needed and there are no owner-configurable options. Touch the Calf Rezzer Cube to toggle visible/invisible.

Ultimate Race Timer w/LED Display Board
Simply touch it to start a race. (Unlike a Lap Timer, a Race Timer is for "out and back" racing.) The Race Timer will give an "on your mark, get set, go!" sequence in chat, on the LED Display Board, on the Race Timer's hovertext and with color-coded indications on the Race Timer itself. Our special "cheater beater" system keeps racers honest at the starting line. Upon receiving the "go!" indication, racers must leave the starting area immediately or risk being fouled out of the race. Racers should never linger in the start/finish area until they have completed the race. As each racer completes a race, their times are announced in chat and posted to the LED Display Board and the Lap Timer's hovertext. After the race, scores are posted to the "Previous Race" hovertext for review while the Race Timer quickly resets itself, ready for the next race. If no activity is detected within three minutes the Race Timer ends the race and enters idle mode.

General Information:
Everything about the Ultimate Rodeo Horse Racing Games is low prim and low lag by design. All parts have "copy" or "copy/mod" permission for worry-free operation. All of the Ultimate Rodeo Horse Racing Games can be deployed and/or played simultaneously in the same sim. (To avoid "crosstalk," only one copy of each game can be used per owner, per sim.) All parts must reside in the same sim.
