Terrific sailing aid
This is a must have for sailing in the Blake sea, especially group cruises with one of several clubs. Easy to use, I've had no problems with it since buying it. Thanks!
Cheap and very helpful HUD
I've used the free USB HUD since I started sailing, and have found it to be a very easy-to-use and helpful HUD when out sailing in SL. If the free version has one minor annoyance, it's that you have to manually open/close the world map to get the beacon to appear - for a mouselook sailor like myself, this can be a tad annoying.
Thankfully that's where this "Light" version comes in. With RLV enabled, the beacon is automatically set for you for each waypoint, which means you never need to come out of mouselook or open your map. This has made an already great HUD fantastic. The HUD also add a bit more useful display info over the free version as well.
For the price it's well worth it, and I've used it for almost 2 years now (purchased August 2018) without a single issue, so it's well overdue for a positive review. A must have!
Oh, I also have to add, don't think it's just for sailors - this works perfectly well as an aircraft route planning hud as well :)
