"Simplicity and repose are the qualities that measure the true value of any work of art." - Frank Lloyd Wright
"Unum", Latin for "One" sums up the ideal of this modern, minimalist home. Perfect for an SL single or a couple, Unum is not a house for families. Unum exists for the sleek and modern, unburdened by the need for a massive SL mansion.
Unum juts up from the earth, a synthesis of wood, metal, and glass, just as natural as the land it rests on. The house cradles its inhabitants in the warm glow of hardwoods, the piercing windows cascading incredible shadows across its long floors. The rear of the home provides a panoramic view of whatever lovely setting you choose, the front a recessed gateway to savor sunrises in.
A loft if ever there was one, Unum's grand ceiling provides unhindered space for those same amazing views. 1 prim sculpted railings provide the perfect visual contrast and let you and your guests safely enjoy the vista to the lower floor.
Even the doors of Unum are scripted with simplistic elegance. There's no stock "click-squeak" sound, no rapid flick of your lovely glass doors threatening to sling off their hinges. You don't open a door that way in reality, why would you break the illusion in your perfect Second Life? No, Unum's doors -glide- open smoothly and close the same way.
Unum is understated, minimalist in every inch of its rising profile. Unum is only 6 meters wide, 5 of which are the inhabitable interior space. 5 meters of space.. think about how LARGE that is in reality. Why waste your time in gaudy doll houses built impossibly large and impossibly ugly? Unum is here to remind you of how beautiful the simple things in life are.
Unum. One. A piece of myself, a piece of inhabitable art.

Unique house, with design quirks
I just bought this house after many weeks of contemplation. It is unique, and due to that aspect, limited furniture arrangement. It is modifiable, so if you think it's a little too narrow, you can stretch it. I don't know why she decided to put the glass along the inside of the house. I shortened it to show the beautiful wood on the walls. Just unlink the house after placement, then individual parts can be edited. I'm also not sure this house is worth 400L. No security, lights or lockable door. I must say that the beautifully descriptive review by the creator is a bunch of crap. Basically this is a slanted, tall box. Enjoy!
Fantastic Home
If you are looking for a home that is completely unique in character, this is it. :) Recommended.
Simple and stylish
The house is great- low prim and modifiable (I made one of the walls invisible to take advantage of a panoramic sea view). Recommended.
Unique
This house is very beautiful and unique. Me and my mate love it! Thank you so much for putting it on sale! Very grateful. It doesn't look like one of those horrible prefab houses at all! As I am aware this is the creators own personal house and she decided to put it up for sale. I say buy it! You won't regret it.
