[VALE KOER] MOTUS CHRONOMETER DEMONSTRATION バージョン 1

Sadly the real one costs the same as a house so I have to make do with this excellent SL version - I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it on MP. Very nice work, highly recommended if you prefer high detail builds. As the saying goes, the devil is in the detail and the creator certainly fulfilled this. If you are a stickler for quality you will love this; you'll certainly find out soon enough which one of your friends cam you :)

The only caveat is I suggest those on older machines try the demo and run it on a busy sim first as rendering may be affected at events.

The watch is very cool, but has incredible high rendering costs

I'm a watch collector in "1st life" and in SL. I even have a full prim Chronometer that works....but THIS is amazing. The creator's detail work is unmatched in anything I've bought in my 9 + yrs in SL. Sure the average person isn't going to notice "another watch", but so what. Whenever I "park my av" I cam in on this watch and just look at the complexities. Gears moving, the second hand, and the "snap back" feature are right on. I WISH I could have a watch like this in "RL". Just buy it, wear it and enjoy it. This creature's talents need to be known too.

Truth to be told first.

The actual PE of this really very high detailed chronometer, is beyond everything "normal". In fact the facecount of it, probably would be good enough for 10 high detailed mesh avatar bases at once, so nothing I would really wear in a crowded area, for the sake of the clients performance of other users just to rez it and to render it, once its been faced (At least for the regular user, that are, well lets face it, runing an outdated machine, most likely.)

On the other hand, the high detailed look of the chronometer, the textures and the mesh itself, regardless of its heavy facecount, are quite an unique masterpiece. And so are the scripts that are as low lag and as less sim performance impacting, as they most likely can be, for a clock like this. Very well done!

So this item is really the type of accessory, thats in fact leaving me torn. Like high value chronometers in RL as well. Its nothing I would suggest as one of those "just go for it, you can't do anything wrong. items" when it comes down to rational decisions. In the case of this chronometer it really sums up to the total facecount of the mesh itself. But than it needs it as well, to be the masterpiece it is for sure.

In fact this chronometer got something in common with RL chronometers of its kind. High detail comes with a high price. But seriously that L$500 are really worth it, if you don't have to worry about FPS issues and client performance yourself. Other users might have.

For sure a chronometer after all. Great balance wheels and unique design come for a price. They are quite likely to causing imbalance on the other hand.
