Aah Grass! The one thing which enabled so many of earths species to evolve! Grass, or graminoids formed during the Cretaceous period (that's between 66 and 145 million years ago!) and quickly became one of the dominant vegetations across the planet! It grows fast, virtually anywhere, and is a great food source for a zillion and three species!

Cattail grasses, otherwise known as Typha, tend to grow in wetlands and are most readily identified by their phallic like stem.
