THE ROCK AO
*updated v1.1- added a new RUN
Vista Animations is proud to present our new male AO.
We had the idea of create an AO that looks good on the new great mesh avatars, specially for the big "Aesthetic" ones.
At that point it come to our mind a strong man like "the Rock" as a model for this new AO and we come with a powerful, steady, calm AO.
We hope you love this new release from Vista Animations

Amazing!
This is a very good hud for the Aesthetic builds no complaints here. No issues with it just put it on and go although I will make some customization later on to it. Controls are easy to understand which is a plus.
Thank You!
Huge potential ruined by one basic animation you can turn off
The Pros:
* Breathing Animation. You don't get that with most other AOs
* Separate Stands and Arm movements combine to create realistic combinations
The Cons:
* Arm animations are bit over the top and they do NOT fit well with Aesthetic. For example, you will see very loose arm crossing that looks like a very close biceps flexing.
* AO HUD is very old school and cheap looking, and takes some time to learn. It loves to re-fix itself in the bottom left corner despite being moved, which conflicts with left edge toolbar.
The Ugly:
* RUNNING! OH. MY. GAWD! Aesthetic AO has a great run with wide extended swaying arms that is very fluid and very manly. Rock AO in contrast has a cheap, low-frame GIRLISH run fit for Standard SL model that is such a massive downgrade from Aesthetic AO that I wonder what were developers thinking. Luckily, this is not a DEALBREAKER since Vista allow us to edit the notecards to remove animations we don't like. Simply Edit the HUD, find the file VistaAO (also Relaxed and UltraRelaxed if you use them), find the row [Running] and remove both animations. Load Authentic AO and Rock AO together and you will get Running from Authentic AO, while breathing, standing, arms movement remain from Rock AO. I had to redo my review giving this product 3 stars into more positive 4 stars after I found this.
LOVE IT!
I got this to use with Enzo and it works just fine. Well done and so many options!
Thanks!
This is a *HUGE* AO
By that I mean that it's meant for HUGE guys. Huge both in stature and behavior, because when wearing this AO you take up a lot of room. I tried the anims in the store, and liked them, so I bought the AO. But trying the anims in the store didn't really give me the correct image of just how "huge" this AO really is when you use it in-world.
I've spent some time getting to "know" this AO, and it's just too much for me. It's just not the kind of presence I wish to convey in-world. It has absolutely nothing to do with this AO being bad. It's not bad at all, it is in fact very intelligently put together, and there really is method to the madness here. I see where the creator is coming from with this.
But just a word of warning: You may think you'll be able to pull of this AO. Well, maybe you can. But you have to be big. I'm not talking bodybuilder big, I'm talking freaking huge. And I've actually found that wearing this AO in-world can be a bit demanding at times.
Again, it's NOT a bad AO, not at all. I want to stress that. But know what you are buying here. I'm 2.18 meters tall and in no way small, and there's no way I can pull off this AO on a daily basis. It's just too much work :)
I'm gving it 5 stars even though I'm not too happy with my purchase. Because like I said it's not a bad AO, not at all. That's not the issue here. It's just not for me. And I imagine 99 % of guys would be much better off with something like Ruben or Johnny instead.
Attitude with flow.
This has all stance with attitude that bodybuilders can have (maybe a little absurdly). I use it when I want my av to do the whole bouncer/bodyguard/doorman thing. Expressive and well captured. Broad shouldered walks, a great and very realistic jogging run (in fact, the best run I have come across) and an option for the AV to hold his hands clasped in front of him in classic doorman pose. Just be aware that your AV will need to have the presence to carry out the attitude conveyed. Not for quiet Sunday mornings.
