This shield is compatible with the Unity Maxim Meter, and defends against all melee weapons.
This is a TRUE SHIELD that blocks continuously when held up in defense position.
It is NOT a Spellfire-type shield that throws a blocking prim.
At present it does not stop thrown weapons. However, it will be updated when the meter is revised.

Really looks noobish. Poor texures, simple prims, the arm anim doesn't override the AO. Should be a freebie. The other items in the shop are such good quality (i've taken the axe and it's really nice :) ) i really hoped this was at least a simple mesh object with a simple anim.
Otherwise it actually works.
