[Vaak] Bento Skateboard

Skating has been something I've loved since the early 2000s! I started to skate more frequently irl and wanted a skateboard for SL. I was primarily looking for a board which allowed customization of the deck, that also included a holding pose, and that would hopefully have said pose with a high priority to keep my arm steady to hold the board, as it's troublesome to find an AO on SL that doesn't make it look like you're having a seizure.
This product met 2/3 of those requirements and the HUD for tricks and ability to ride it are a HUGE bonus! I was not even expecting to find something like this at all. I personally think the asking price for such incredible work to get all these animations and code to run in SL and turn it into a lite Tony Hawk game is more than reasonable. This product truly reminds me of the Tony Hawk games from my childhood! I have already made several deck graphics for my board, as well. The included templates are fantastic.
The holding pose included with the skateboard is not a very high priority, so it can make the skateboard clip into your body a lot depending on your AO. I'm no good at making poses or coding, so I took a gamble on another skateboard product that had a bento hold pose and that had mod privileges. I was able to drag the pose and script from that board and stick it onto the hold variant of Vaak's skateboard. It's absolutely perfect now! I know this product was made several years ago but if an extra high priority pose of the hold variant of the board was ever added, this is easily a 100/10 product and it was already a 99/10 to me as is. Like I mentioned, the asking price is really generous so the extra money I spent gambling on the other board to have a high priority pose isn't a huge loss since I will probably wear this board until the end of time, really.
Everything works fine on my avatar, too. I have a very lightweight avatar that doesn't use a lot of bento attachments, so I have not had any issues.

this is the best board!

I was looking to update to a higher quality board, and this is definitely an upgrade to what I was using before! The tricks look really good, the board was easy to adjust and still have the tricks look good. The issue I had was getting my character to hold the board the way I wanted. I could only hold it in my hand with no animation to keep my arm in place or anything. My old board had an arm and hand hold animation that held the arm in place despite my AO so I wouldn't flail the board in the air. Kind of what I was hoping for. This one did not have that. Thankfully, it is modify, so I was able to slap the holding animation script from my old board into it and get exactly what I wanted out of it, but I'm a little disappointed as I was hoping to get something with bento hand holds for the board. Overall, a good board. Just be mindful if you buy, it's gonna look better kicked up under your foot then in your hand.
