This is a replica of a 1960's GE Console Stereo / Record Player. It's full-perm so you can drop in your own songs or use the ones provided. Just name them 01yoursong 02yoursong 03yoursong etc. It has a few animations and a record drop sound.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time, a vintage radio sort of console. I have one in my home in RL that was built in 1932 and just plays lovely music and I was hoping to find something like it on SL. I saw this and noticed it had built in music so since it was free I figured if it sucked or if I found just a really nice chest similar to what I have in RL, but is just a chest, I could add the music scripts into it. Well this ended my search! It's fantastic! The picture doesn't do this radio justice, the pic makes it look like its one of those horrid flat prims textured on one side, but this is amazing! I put it in the front hall of my big log cabin and replaced my round entry table with this and put two wood barrel seats on either side of it and its just fantastic, its just what I was looking for, don't be and idiot and not buy this, be intelligent and buy it!!!

Very well built, full-perm, and doesn't cost a thing? You most certainly can't go wrong with this. And the fact that you can add your own music is the icing on the cake.
