The racing stripe is not centered? This car is set up for the track, the stripes were offset in order to help the driver center the car with the track. I know details, details, well here is another little known fact.
If you are wondering why the speedometer reads backwards?
I have talked to a number of retired SMITHS employees and asked them and they go on to say... "When the Cobra was being designed, the engineers realized that the cable drive from the gearbox to the speedometer was counterclockwise rotation, instead of the more usual clockwise. The normal procedure for an anti-clock drive was to fit a reversing gearbox on the rear of the speedo to convert the rotation to drive a conventional clockwise speedo. Between the Cobra engineers and Smiths Industries, it was decided to offer an anti-clock speedo as a feature, and obviously a cost reduction by not having a cable drive gearbox.
