I'm always weary of buying melee weapons because when I started SL back in 05, there was one set of animations that was used for every melee weapon. Baseball Bat, Whip, Lightsaber, it was the same stupid shitty script that was used. You hold down the mouse key and use WASD to do some terribly animated attacks where you swing the weapon uselessly.
Now, I'm sure that these terrible animations do damage for whatever battle system you need, but I just need a prop that looked nice. Sure, it looks nice, but the animations are bad and I thought that after almost 7 years we'd have at least some new freebie script for weapons.
Please don't buy if you're looking for good animations. If you need a prop for a roleplay, then sure, but I'm positive there's cheaper alternatives out there.
