~*Water Horse*~ is pleased to bring you Second Life's first full-mesh deer avatar! Extensive research of Deer anatomy and movement has enabled us to make the most life-life deer avatar on the grid.
This avatar comes with a fully customized deer AO. There are unique animations for walking, flying, swimming, and even crouch walk. It moves at four different speeds, each of which has its own animation. Furthermore, it comes with three different pre-loaded notecards so you can select from an animation set that best fits the personality of your avatar. If none of the preloaded notecards quite fit, you can make your own notecard from the animations available!
A hidable HUD contains 11 gestures and 3 dances. Animations include 4 different lays, sit, bow, graze, die, stomp and 2 fight animations. Male and female sounds are included with the HUD.
To top it off, we've made this avatar about as customizable as mesh gets, with three different antler choices and a HUD that lets you select from 7 different preloaded textures. This avatar is update enabled, so if we find new features we want to include, you'll have your new copy delivered directly to you.
The megapack, featuring both the whitetail deer and the mule deer, 7 antler choices, two body mesh choices, and a total of 25 texture choices, is available for only a little more. Check it out if even more flexibility sounds good to you.

The realism and shape of this Avatar is amazing. I feel like I am one with nature! The Animation hud is so organized and easy to use. Different color coats? Amazing!
So now for the cons:
The gaits were very smooth, I loved them. However, I wish that they were a little more "Deer like." I know this avatar was made a while back but just tips! The Gaits felt like it was for a horse mostly, but they were well made. The avatar idle movements are a little sharp and stiff, but overall good. I wish that the tail would also rise up, not just pop up.
Overall, this avatar was totally worth it.
Disappointed
I was expecting a lot more functionality-wise out of it and more customization of the base shape. But I suppose they didn't really think people would want that. Was hoping to have a nice, lithe deer. But this feels awkward and a bit bumbly as far as size goes. Especially when trying to go for a female type which tends to be slimmer in the body and especially the neck. Really regretting this purchase. :/

This av is really great. Only complaint is that I feel that the walk isnt as smooth to control, but that may just be me.
Pretty good
It's better than I thought it was going to be. I wish it would be able to do the jumping run animation that seems natural to white tails. Not just the running.
Simply Stunning
I did not hesitate buying this remarkable product. It is simply amazing. The animations are smooth and beautiful and the dances are quite fun. I love all of the different sits and lays! I love how you can bow and even play dead! One of my favorite parts of it, is that it works well with different accessories and you can change the fur colors. I love how I can use some things I use on my typical humanish avatar like hats and such and it works well with the deer. It is amazing for roleplays and various other things! The textures are really nice inworld, which was the only thing I was concerned about with the photo pictured. It's detailed and I love how just standing the deer will look around and ears will twitch. It's a beautiful avatar and well worth the money! Thank you for creating this product! It was exactly what I wanted!
