Beautiful ears
so beautiful worth it the 100 Lindens <3!
Awesome ears!
I really liked these ears even though I broke my first pair while trying to link some piercings onto them but I got it figured out and they are now the cutest ever. Fortunately they're copy so I could just take another copy out of the box and try again until I got them the way I wanted them to look. They even wiggle properly without things slipping out of place. Now people ask me where I got them and I have to tell them I customized them with piercings but the base ears are Fuzzy Foxy mesh ears. They are superb. Thanks for creating some great ears Lex that allow me to customize them the way I want!
Not worth the price point.
My review is based on three sections: mesh quality, texture quality, and complexity cost. The mesh is choppy mesh, the complexity is unnecessarily high, and combined with mediocre textures. There are a number of ears on the market and these just don't cut it.
Firstly and most importantly, the edges of the ears are extremely choppy and jagged between the outer and inner ear texturing - no smooth surfaces even with maximum graphics settings. The edges of the ears could also use a smoother surface. The back of the ears are okay, but the front of the ears are the main focus.
Second of all, there's no reason why these ears require a complexity of 11,148 per ear. With jellydolly's now implemented avatar complexity quickly adds up and these ears are not the least bit optimized.
Last, but not least, the textures are rather low quality with each 'unique' color simply looking like a tint of the black texture, very washed out and poorly done.
The best part of the ears is the HUD, which actually looks decent, to disable to constant erratic twitching. The 'movement' and positions of the ears are simply rotations so nothing special there.
Overall, I'd say the product is worth maybe 1/3rd of what the maker is asking.
I'd advise trying a demo before wasting your linden on this item.
SO CUTE AND DETAILED, BLOGGERS USE IT!!
I first discovered these from stumbling upon a quite an amount of bloggers that use these ears for their outfits they post up on their blogs, but what I found frustrating was that they NEVER put down who created the ears and what was the name of the ear product in their "What i'm wearing" section under the blogger outfit image. Finally a store owner sent me a link of where to get the product, I thank her greatly, her name is Karupisyu who makes kemono things. I hope bloggers give Lexbot sinister some credit where credit is due even if the blogger is not endorsed or sponsored by Lexbot sinister. This way others that see the ears used is very cute fashions will KNOW where the ears were gotten from.
