Marla, currently single and still lives a college life at the age of 30 in Chicago, Illinois. She works in telemarketing and has taken a second job as a waitress just to keep afloat after her last boyfriend left her for another woman. She recently rescued Petunia from the animal shelter to help her cope with loneliness, but she found it wasn't enough and so she is finally starting to break out of her shell. With the help her old friends, she has
