All I can say is... Bloody Brilliant!
This is by far the best weather system I have come across in Second Life!
Was sceptical about buying a weather system as have never really been impressed with the ones I've seen, but....
This is awesome, worth every L$ at less than 1,500.
Was easy to set up although did get a little stuck in one area of it so emailed their support, had the solution back within less than 30 minutes, very impressive.
Great product, highly recommend it. 5 Stars!!
A really great weather system, Wish you had a little more control over the randomness like the ability to make it ligtning all the time but maybe you to do and I just havent messed with it enough yet :) ITs absolutely wonderfull and adds that perfect touch to your home, business, or land in general. Would deff reccomend to anyone looking for a weather system.
Completely brillant, i dont write reviews at all, but this , i have to say, is fantastic, altho it can create a little lag, its hell worth it, the effects are just awesome.. well worth its lindens, thank you for your product...
I love this!! I terraformed my parcel to look specifically natural with the forests, ponds, oceanview, and beaches and this system just gave it the finishing touch! I love how rain brings out my inspiration, real life and secondlife =)
This has added a great element of tranquility to my temple complex. I only really use the rain features, but those alone would be well worth the 1495L I paid for this. (I bought it in early April '09) This system works great. You just set up the main console and set it to what area you want and then you can move the emitters around (first turning them visible from the easy to use menu so you can see them), and then the unit actually remembers where you pushed the emitters. It works by rezzing and de-rezzing these emitters.
There is only one real problem that I can think of right now; the emitters use up prims when they're rezzed, so you need to keep prims free on your plot. I didn't like the clouds but you can set the unit not to rez them, so it wasn't a real problem. The prims weren't either because I had the prims to spare.
Also, the unit can't change your sky settings, but this is a limitation of Second Life and not he product. One tip; when you get the rain going, you should go into world>environment settings>environment editor and raise cloud cover and fool with the sky settings so you can make the storm seem more realistic :3
Bottom line, this works great and I would have paid 2000L.
