The Wellbot Roleplay system consists of two integrated components: the Roleplay Control HUD and the Greeter HUD Attachment. Together they create intelligent, immersive NPCs for Second Life roleplay environments.
Roleplay Control HUD
The Roleplay Control HUD transforms bot avatars into intelligent NPCs capable of character-driven conversations, memory retention, and immersive roleplay interactions.

Character Customization:
Persona notecards support character names, personality descriptions, system prompts, and up to 16 hard rules that enforce character boundaries. Each bot can have a distinct personality.
Knowledge Base Integration:
The Sim Knowledge Base allows NPCs to reference sim rules, know about major characters, understand sim lore, and provide accurate responses grounded in your sim's story.
Greeter HUD Attachment
The Greeter HUD is worn by bot avatars and automatically detects and welcomes visitors to your sim or roleplay area.
How It Works:
- Automatic Visitor Detection: Scans for nearby avatars every 10 seconds (configurable) within 1-96 meters (default 20m)
- Smart Greeting: Each visitor greeted once per session until they leave or teleport
- Flexible Scanning: Parcel-only or region-wide options
- Dual Greeting Modes: Automatic server IM or owner prompt notifications
Automatic Configuration:
When a bot logs in via the Roleplay Control HUD, the greeter automatically configures with the bot's ID and control token. No manual setup required.
Customization Options:
Via GreeterConfig notecard: greeting message, scan radius/interval, parcel vs region scanning, enable/disable automatic IMs, email alerts for low points.
Control Interface:
Touch the Greeter HUD for enable/disable, status check, and configuration viewing.
System Integration
The systems work seamlessly together. Setup flow: Attach Greeter to bot → Wear Control HUD → Pair bot → Bot logs in → Greeter auto-configures. The Control HUD broadcasts bot configuration when bots log in, allowing all NPCs managed through a single Control HUD to have individual Greeter attachments. NPCs maintain character personalities in both greetings and conversations.

Points System
Wellbot uses a points-based billing system tied to the HUD owner. Points are consumed for bot logins (1 point per login), AI messages (based on tokens used, typically 1 point per 1K tokens), and Knowledge Base queries (0.5 points per query, rounded to 1 point after every two queries).
