To tint the plant leaves (these instructions are also included in the product info notecard):

The original texture is black and white, although I've already tinted it to a kind of bluey-green (Hex #008080)
To remove my tint or add your own - right-click the item -> Select Face -> click on the leaves -> Texture -> and then click in the Color box.
Set it to white to remove all tint, or play around by choosing your own colours.
I also think it looks quite good with a little bit of glow.
