Welcome to Wilder Mills Combrats : These are simple, small, functional, fun planes with classic Niki Wilder artistic flair to do basic,,old=school air combat with friends. You don't need role play or pilot outfits to play.

Right click and select FLY to get in the aircraft. Since these are very small airplanes, a sit adjust menu will pop up on sit. Cam around and adjust your position as desired. The menu may be recalled at any time by "sit" in chat.

On sitting the Ground cam will enable. When you take off this will change to normal follow cam automatically. "c" in chat will change to Dynamic cam after takeoff.

As wtih most SL aircraft, WASD and arrow keys for direction, page up/down for power, and left mouse click to fire guns.

Remember, these are retractable gear airplanes. they have performance limitations with the gear down that help you land, but will get you killed really fast in a fight. Don't forget to raise the gear and lower it only to land or you're Bratbait.

Combat is enabled on sitting. You can not turn it off, so as long as you're flying you're a target. Guns are sensor and do not require rez to work. Please be aware if you are in an area where combat is not allowed. We're not responsible for bans due to region rules violations by use of our aircraft. Be aware and courteous.

To avoid stall fighting and to help new folks or laggy landings, ZERO (0%) throttle will deploy a ballistic recovery parachute and lower the aircraft to the ground, or whatever you happen to be over. Adding power again closes the chute to continue normal flight.

sit = sit adjust menu
s = start/stop toggle
c = toggles dynamic cam (after take off)
g = toggles landing gear up and down. If you forget to raise the gear it will happen on its own off the ground and above 50% power. Putting it back down is on you
sc = toggles wide distance scan cam, useful in combat to get a tactical idea where opponants are
hud off = disables the WCS hovertext hud in the tail . It is on by default
hud 0n - enables the WCS hovertext hud in the tail
a = specialized aerobatic mode - changing modes will stop the aircraft in flight, so add throttle after. Purpose is so opponants can see if you change modes in combat
n = reverts back to Normal mode
r = fires WCS rocket if the aircraft is equipped with one. requires rez area
b = drops bomb if the aircraft is equipped with bombs - requires rez area

** note - I have removed the TCS channel from WCS in these aircraft so that they may not be used to engage with other TCS enabled aircraft in SL, and so other TCS aircraft can not intefere with Wilder Combrat operations.

If you get shot down in combat your plane will disappear and you will descend in a bubble! You have 30 seconds to survive in the bubble. If the bubble hits an object or is rammed by an opponant, it will explode and you will have to rez another plane. If you make it to 30 seconds, your plane will regenerate and start so you may continue the fight! Fortunately, the bubbles are hard to see. I take no responsibility whatsoever for the bubble popping sequence. I was forced to script it or Niki would publish all my secrets.
