WindCompassは、もともとクルージングとレーシング用のBanditIF用に作成されました。
初心者からベテランレーサーまで。多くの機能が継続的に追加されていますが、
TMSおよび他のボートのサポートと一般的な使用のための1つを含みます。
初心者は、「オプション」に「基本」ボタンがあり、情報がはるかに少ないシンプルなレイアウトを設定できます。
WindCompassは、関連する多くの帆情報を1か所にコンパクトに保持するように設計されています。
そのため、方位（HDG）、風向、風速、ボート速度、真の風角（TWA）、
見かけの風の角度（AWA）、速度を示しているVelocity Made Good（VMG）
風向に向かう帆船。
AWAとボートのパフォーマンスに基づいて、WindCompassは赤い「ノーゴー」ゾーンなどを表示します
スピネーカー、ジェナカー、翼のあるジブ、さらには水中翼船の使用が効果的なゾーン。
TWAは黒で示され、AWAは黄色のポインターで示されます。
レーサーは、ワンクリックでレースウィンドを取得でき、ボートでレースウィンドを取得することもできます。
巡洋艦は、コンパスをクリックするか、ジェスチャーベースのショートカットで風を設定できます。
スキッパーとクルーがWindCompassを使用している場合、スキッパーはクルーのWindCompassを同期できます。
新しいスマートモードは、座位および風検出機能の自動風設定に役立ちます。
SLSAタイマーは、スタートラインからのカウントダウンを示します。 Start-AND Stopsignalsをリッスンします！
Lailasの新しいStartlineとも互換性があります。
ボートの自動選択機能は、サポートされているボートに座ると、ボートの正しい設定をロードします。
ロゴの上のInfotextは、BoatnameとWindinfoを示しています。
ストップウォッチを使用すると、セーリングやレースの練習のために、セーリング時間を追跡できます。
LAPおよびSPLIT時間機能も使用できます。
該当する場合、セイルトリムディスプレイには、セイルのトリム設定を示す色が表示されます。
ボートから与えられたハッドのように似ています。一部のボートでは、セイルトリムディスプレイをクリックして上げたり係留したりできます。
Bandit IF、50/3、および22 LTEの場合、メインセールのトリミングに役立つブーム角度番号が外輪にあります。
これらの色付きの数字は、メインセールをトリムする数字を示しています。 （経験則：1/2 AWA）
ビルトインシャウターを使用すると、レーサーはローカルチャットで話されたことを叫ぶことができます（または乗組員にささやくことができます）
たとえば、忙しいレースでは「STARBOARD」や「ROOM」などと叫びます。
ウィスパラーは、乗組員への静かなコマンド（「スピンアップ」、「スピンダウン」など）に使用できます。

NAVを使用すると、ウェイポイントリスト（USBノートカード）をロード、削除、またはフォローしたり、そのリスト内のウェイポイントにジャンプしたりできます。
次または前のウェイポイント、ループまたはリバースウェイポイントリストに移動し、単一のターゲットSLurlに移動します。
マークはインワールドで赤いビーコンとして表示され、グラフィックポインタはターゲットへの方位（BTT）を示します。

また、次のマークまでのETA（到着予定時刻）も表示されます。
墜落後すぐにボートを見つけるのを助けるために、WindCompassはTPリンクで最後の既知の位置を示すことができます。

This is a compass you cannot do without!
I've purchased this product twice before in the past. With every release it has gotten better and better. Kim and I spent the day out testing and tweaking the scripts and features and have emerged with a prime product, free of bugs and inconveniences. I heartily recommend this product as there is nothing else like it on SL. Thanks, Kim for spending the time with me so we can iron out the bugs. I don't doubt there may be some overlooked and I recommend users to use this product and if anything is noticed, inform Kim Farleigh.
That is an incredible help
I m new at sailing, and i needed something to understand better the winds, and how handle the sailboat.
Ok.... still sometimes i m stuck and the only way i found to go out is starting the motor (sometimes even without being in "the red zone", so it s still things i dont understand) But i m sure that hud will help me a lot.
I would to try some races, at least not really race, but doing the route with the same winds that was planned for a race, i hope it s possible do that if no races are planned at that place.
So, it is a very very useful HUD, and the connection with the boat (the Palain in my case) is a big plus too.
Fantastic Product
I am a new sailor, and the Windcompass Pro has really helped me to understand many of the sailing concepts I've read about and observed when sailing with others. I'm sure I will never need anything different. Thank you for this outstanding product!
excellent
I bought this for a totally different purpose than I use it for now, Lets just say I misunderstood what something meant... this hud is still totally useful to me though if only to change wind directions faster and easier without needing to type it in local. Well worth the money to me even though it doesn't do what I originally bought it for. Again that is not the creators issue it was mine for misunderstanding.
An enigma
I bought this device back in 2018 because users told me it was such an excellent device for sailors. Frankly, I was intimidated by the many buttons, numbers, text, icons etc. on this small HUD and put it to rest. Only recently, 4 years later I stumbled on it again and gave it a second try with an upgraded version. After a few days reading, testing, biting my tongue, finding my way in it, I must say its really an enigma. Its amazing to see how one can put so many features into such a small HUD. Its like a Swiss watch. Its impossible to really go into its dozens of features here, but my recommendation is, if you serious about sailing in SL, then get this miracle device. If you like me willing to spend a few days reading and testing, you will love it and wonder how you ever did without it.
