Thank you for your interest in the MBC Window Tint System. This system is one of a kind letting you change individual windows by touching the desired window as well as all windows. Script efficiency was kept in mind during development so we made this system use only 1 script.
The design of this system enables you to have up to 255 windows controlled by one script/controller at one time. Even control separate rooms with their own controller!
You can choose between 10 tint levels starting from fully invisible to full visible 0.0/1.0.
Control who accesses your window system by the efficient and intuitive menu driven management system which enables you to add/remove/list multiple users or grant users with Admin privileges, giving them full control over the management and/or control of the window tint system.
How do I setup my Window Tint System?
When receiving the package from the MBC store, you will find in the contents the following:
1). controller
2). MBC.Window.Tint.MAIN
3). MBC.Window.Tint.CONTROLLER
4). Window.Tint.System.EXAMPLE
5). Window.Tint.System.HELP
Before using this system please ensure all contents from the package is copied to your inventory.
To begin you must name ALL your windows within your link-set. All windows must be named "window". WITHOUT the quotes. This ensure that the script knows exactly which prims to communicate with.
Once all the windows are named accordingly, rez the MBC.Window.Tint.CONTROLLER and link the windows to the controller ensuring the controller is the root/parent prim. Alternatively you can create your own controller by using the script provided named MBC.Window.Tint.MAIN. Simply drop the script into a custom controller you have created and use the same setup process.
PLEASE NOTE: ensure the controller is not named the same as your windows!
You can link the entire tint system to your build, however this will slow the overall tinting process and will greatly decrease the amount of windows out of 255 you will be able to occupy.
User management is as simple as ever. You will notice user management is not available from clicking an individual window, instead you are presented with a menu asking you to set a tint level for that particular window. You must touch the main controller for that particular room. This will give you access to the 'Manage' menu button.
Click on this button and will be presented with the Admin section of the Window Tint System. From here you can Add/Remove/List set up Public Mode or enable all granted users with Admin rights.
Simply click the desired button and the menus will guide you through everything needed to know.
