Do you want to organize your stuff? Afraid that asset server might forget your inventory? Want to share your stuff with members of a group you belong to? Or simply want to exchange objects with other people?

This luxury velvet-padded chest, made from the finest Honduras rosewood, is the best way to store, share or organize your items, in-world or in inventory.

EASY, INTUITIVE INTERFACE

Simply click on the chest and you'll get a numbered list of all items inside. Say the number of the item to take it, or part of item name to retrieve all matching items (saying item type, for example "script", works as well). Say "all" to unpack all items at once. In the same way as taking items out, you can delete a single item, all items of the same type, or all items with similar name.

You will find this approach much more convenient than cycling through items one at a time (like on many vendors/organizers). It's also light years faster than opening object and waiting for contents to load. And you don't get clumsy dialog--you get the list in chat, so scroll through it as you see fit (or you can set chest to display one page of items at a time).

Tested with more than 10000 items inside.

BACKUP TO AVOID INVENTORY LOSS

The most feared thing in Second Life® is losing your inventory. As of this time, there is really only one way to backup no-transfer inventory—store it in-world. When you rezz your stuff in sim (or several sims), if asset server "forgets" your inventory, you have backup stored in a sim. And now, you don't have to put your stuff in plywood boxes anymore.

LABELS

Label your chest (or chests) and organize your stuff any way you like (you can also put chests inside other chests to act as nested folders). Labels display as both description and floating text above the chest which is automatically hidden when you're not around.

EXCHANGE ITEMS WITH OTHERS

This wooden chest doesn't work only for the owner. You can modify who gets to store items in chest, and who gets to take them out.
* allow only owner to put items inside
* allow group members to put items inside
* allow everybody to put items inside
* allow only owner to take items out
* allow group members to take items out
* allow everybody to take items outYou can also use combinations of the above to create different scenarios and use it as:
* a vendor-like means of distribution—without the selling part
* a sort of inbox, so that people can give things to you
* a group inbox—say, if you want all your managers to have access to notecards customers leave in your store
* a rezzed alternative to group notices (only that notices don't expire)
* or simply use it to store/organize your own items

AND MORE...

Low-lag, low-prim, compiled for Mono, updates, customizable, copyable and modifiable, in four different sizes... although storage seems simple, it's a serious business, and there's a bit more this gadget will offer you. I hope you'll find it intuitive and useful.
