- i beat some turismo cars with this truck
Love this thing! But...
I bought this primarily for role play, using it as a truck for my character. I was a bit nervous getting this at first due to the low price. But I'm glad I got it!
What I like:
- Modify permissions and easy to modify. If you want to remove the spoiler, or fill up the cargo bay with a different assortment of items, you can absolutely do that! It's not difficult at all to change stuff around.
- Very nice detail! The interior dash, bumpers, the fact that the above cab can actually be seen into... I love it! I could absolutely see myself turning this into all sorts of different designs to cater to different role play scenarios.
- Collision works! I don't mean that it drives into stuff and dents; I mean if I walk around in the back cargo area, the walls will prevent me from leaving. It's not just a big invisible truck; it actually has parts in place that prevent me from just going right through it.The only parts that you can really just walk through are the cab itself and the engine, which is fine! I like that I can stand up and not get stuck in the cab.
- Affordable!
What I don't like:
- It's very floaty! Was expecting this to drive like a rig, with slow acceleration and/or harder turning. What it actually feels like is being in a swivel chair on ice. It turns left and right on a dime without having to move forward at all, and drives like it's the size of a bicycle. There's no weight to it. I mean I get that it's a racing truck, but it is -far- too slippery to be a truck.
- Different gears make it -way- faster and -way- more slippery. Definitely not truck physics! Interesting bit of detail though: you need to switch gears to reverse to back up. Good attention to detail, but it's still a slippery system.
I still love the design of this truck! But I'll probably end up using it more for scenes, rather than for actual driving. Still, it's an awesome design and a lot of care went into this truck's appearance!
