Surprisingly useful!
While making my initial track purchases, I wasn't sure if I'd ever use these over the "normal" turnouts, but decided to go ahead and get them and I am so glad that I did. I recommend you do too! Their design proved to be very useful and opened up a lot of options with my track geometry.
