Details

You must be looking at those three ol' AKs and wondering "What's the difference?"

First of all, this one is just 1 prim, means you can have buckets of them and still weight less than wearable rifles rezzed.

Well, long story short, AK-47 came into service in 1947, while AK-74 as you may have guessed, 1974. The odd cousin, AKM came into play in 1959, in literal translation, it's an 'Modernized Kalashnikov Automatic (rifle)'. Silly of them to think that would be the last AK improvement!

On the outside, it's hard to tell which one is which, but on the inside, machining, mechanisms and even rounds fired are different. AK-47 and AKM uses 7.62×39mm rounds, AK-74 and later variants employed 5.45×39mm rounds.

The 5.45x39mm may appear to be a downgrade to the misinformed, however, rounds increased carrying capacity of users and the improvement in firearms design of AK-74 has translated into a nearly 150m increase in effective range to a total of 500m.

The easiest way to tell, is by looking at their muzzles.
AKM has a diagonally cut muzzle to damper the kickback during burst fire. Usually held by tribal warlords since this is the cool-guy version of the 47.
AK-47 does not have the cylinder like muzzle break of AK-74.

The AK-12 is a Russian 5.45×39mm assault rifle, designed and manufactured by Kalashnikov Concern (formerly Izhmash). It is one of the modern derivatives of the Russian AK-Pattern series of assault rifles. Kalashnikov also offers the AK-12 in 7.62×39mm cartridge, designated as the AK-15.

AK-103

The AK-103 assault rifle is a derivative of the AK-74M chambered for the 7.62×39mm M43 round, similar to the older AKM. The AK-103 can be fitted with a variety of sights, including night vision and telescopic sights, plus a knife-bayonet or a grenade launcher. It uses plastic components where possible instead of wood or metal, with such components being the pistol grip, handguards and stock.

It's very difficult to find solid firearm props for decor/clutter and this is a great pick for the price.
