It is what it is
I read the good reviews and bought the craft based on what others had written although the reviews are now quite old. I should have tried the demo version. My bad! The craft looks good from the outside as a vintage motor boat and the sounds are realistic. The interior finish and furnishings are very limited and the interior cabin has an old look with little sophistication. The anims are very limited in number and only available under 'couples'. This craft is ok for puttering along the coast and looking at the scenery and the speed settings are easy to use so there is a positive for a new user. However for $2,4999 I feel this product is an over priced item from an old 'back-lot' and that some cheaper vessels would probably offer a comparative finish and spec. As I say, my bad for not trying the demo. I wish I could have written a better review because I like the exterior look of the "Aphrodite".
True Classic
I bought this boat because i wanted something a bit different than the usual sl boats and this one delivers.A pleasure to ride or just have parked up,people allways comment on how good it loooks,easy handling lovely textures of a by gone era.Access to the rear cabin would be a bonus but im sure that could be an easy fix,its not a deal breaker.Shame theres no more than 5 stars.

I have collected vintage boats in SL for many years and this one I really love. It's a pleasure to drive and also to look at.

beautiful design as all of remi messmer boats. surprisingly low prim, and now great animations and sitting possibilities, so skipper and visitors can actually live work and entertain on board
