Note: This is not the version you might have seen on SL roads; this version does not have physical movement, and is not intended for such long journeys (though theoretically it can do them). See version 5.
This pod system is intended as a complete solution for doing tours across your land, be it a whole sim, or just a small parcel. However, if you just have a small parcel, and only want to use it for accessing sky boxes, you may wish to consider my simple one-seater pod, version 1 (or contact me for the 2 seater version).
The pod tours are easily configurable, via a notecard. The first person to sit on the pod gets a menu (it has two seats, but you can modify it to add more if you have the building skills - or ask me). You can have up to 12 tours!!!
The pod can speak lines at places you define, change speed, pause, rotate, and limit access to certain tours by avatar name or group name. The tour can be as long as you want. It can even cross sim boundaries (though this is always risky in SL!).

This product is great and very easy to set up. Ready to use in 1 hour with 4 guided tours.
This is a great product, very easy to use and set up and the creator couldn't be nicer. I used this in a haunted cave ride that covers over 1/4 of a sim with twists turns and falls we got lots of compliments on it.
For travel within a single sim this is hard to beat. (But there is an SL-related flaw that messes up multiple sim tours...) I'm giving five stars anyway with the above limitation noted.
Just Brilliant. Fantastic and easy to set up using the notecards. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. After messing around with a more expensive competitor product HUD and ending up having to call in an expert to do it (and pay big dollars), I decided to give this one a go myself. Not only was it easier to use, and I found it very easy to make my own vessels ( a groovy baloon), when I had a question the vendor was very very friendly and quick to respond. They can have many destinations, which is great for a big sim like mine, you can rename them, by default they always face the front (thank GOD - no messing with angles) the instructions and clear and even explain how to do the tricky sim crossing. The best thing is - they only come when you call them, no messing up the scenery with pods everywhere.I am very happy with this product. bought on 7 September 07, finished and rated on the 8th :))
Perfect! Exactly what I wanted and exactly as described. easy to set up. Easy to make custom vehicles and use these scripts. Thanks for a great product!
