► Description
This is our version of the classic Farnsworth House. Originally designed to be a one-room retreat this home is modern, stylish, spacious and very popular.
It measures approx 23x40 and is made 100% out of quality mesh with baked textures.
We decided not to include curtains to save on Li and to allow you to put in your own style but we did add animated doors which smoothly open and close on touch.
Please see it in-world before buying!

It was a pleasure to work with Designer *Zadig*. I had some questions about this house and I wrote to the creator. How nice - my problem was solved and everything was quickly and politely. I also have skyboxes from this Designer - they are great. I recommend . The textures are flawless and the houses are light and comfortable.
A faithful reproduction, but not identical
I am disappointed that no one who is selling a model of the Farnsworth House appears to be trying to detail the interior section that (in the original) housed a small bathroom and some cupboards. At least in this model part of the interior section is set to phantom, so you could put a bed in there for privacy.

The proportions on this house are much more accurate than other Farnsworths which have appeared on SL. Especially the steps and deck are correct, both in number and scale. The textures are simple - but the original house is white - so they work convincingly. The interior is somewhat scaled down but looks very correct. When it is landscaped with trees and flat grassland like the original it is a very good model. And do I need to remind anyone that 99L is a bargain?? Lovely work.
