ZimberLab Materials A - Rough Interior - Full Permissions
Add structure to your ZimberLab Walls !
Set of 5 seamless materials.
These Materials were made to be used together with the ZimberLab Walls A shadow-textures (AO maps),
and an inworld color applied by use of the Color Picker.
There are no regular textures included with this product, apart from the main Walls A shadow-texture.
A material is created by applying 2 maps on a wall's face, a Normal map for bumpiness, and a Specular map for Shininess.
Normal maps : Each set comes with 3 different intensities in bumpiness to choose from.
Specular maps : Adjust Glossiness inworld depending on the nature of your surface.
Note that residents who don't have the Advanced Lightning Model enabled, will not see the material effect.
(Preferences > Graphics > General)
About Moiré :
Two overlaying similar line or dots patterns can produce a third different pattern. This is called the Moiré effect.
When viewed from a certain distance, the bumpiness from normal maps with a finer structure (pattern 1) will be near the size of the pixels from your computer display (pattern 2) and a Moiré effect may be visible.
Therefor some of the finer materials are not suitable to be used on exterior faces or in very large rooms.
The effect can be tempered by applying a darker color to the wall face. It will be most visible on a white wall.

- Use the material maps on a freebie or a product with a pricing below L$ 10.
- Use the material maps outside the virtual world Second Life.
'Distribute' is defined as any form of transfer or publishing, be it by print, copy, distribution, disclosure, selling or sharing.
