climb ladder animation

I was disappointed to find that this was just a basic animation, a single inventory item, and there is no information at all. I was hoping there might be some guidance on how to implement a climbable ladder using it. Perhaps a simple script. In the end it was all a huge task needing investigation and help.
I wonder why nobody mentioned this. Not the seller and not any reviewer so far.
The avi's arm and leg movements are moderately realistic but not perfect. In RL you would not lift your hand off while your foot at the same side was also moving at the same time.
Anyway it's adequate so long as you dont get too critical. It has the bonus that (oddly I think) the same animation works for going down the ladder too.
Nuff said.

fine animation for the price. and the other review saying it "doesnt look like you're climbing a rope" is because the animation isnt for climbing a rope its for climbing a ladder

This does not look like you're climbing a rope. It puts you in a sitting position and your legs and arms go up and down. Your legs look like you're riding a bike and your arms are bent and they go up and down. It's weird looking.

Exactly what I was looking for and a bargain too.

Just what I needed. Easy to understand and mod.
