a new skybox i made.

few days ago i was on the beach with my dog
and there we got this beautiful idea.
with iceland as my inspiration and the sea.

the skybox has a scripted slide door to a little balcony.
you can change the texture of the big mainwindows by clicking on them.
the door is texturechange too, if you click on the window. if you click on the frame she will open.

there are 5 lightbulbs too, you can turn each one on and off. :}

i guess there is nothing more to say.
i really adore clean structures and simple things.

anyways,... i hope you enjoy it.

thank you. <3

edit: if you want to see it inworld please contact me in world via im. thank you.

Lovely little skybox with cute details. Love the texture-changing windows (and lots of windows there are!!). Small features like the hanging lights and wood bits are a very nice touch. Perfect skybox for a smaller parcel, and very nice for photographing or playing with windlight settings, the box is very attractive in different lighting settings. Could not recommend this one enough!

Super cute, lovely soft textures! Note that is is quite small, so it would be ideal for a little parcel.

As with this creator's other skyboxes, I think this is simply exquisite- maybe its because we have similar taste or something, but you really ought to check it out before you get an 'ordinary' skybox. To me it has a delicate touch and a sense of air and light that is not as noticeable in so many others I've seen.
That said, it is no good if you want somewhere with the space of a normal skybox (although his others are a lot larger, and just as nice in their own way). This is more of the size of a very large room, but its so lovely, and so different from the run of the mill SL skyboxes, that I had to have it.
(I'm actually wondering if I could make it full-zise by rezzing a second copy next to the first, and then unlinking and removing the adjoining walls, but I'll ask about that).
This review is totally unbiased and I dont know the creator at all, but I feel his work deserves a larger audience- I talk about it almost as if it's art, and that's probably a testament to its quality. 500L seems a lot compared to the decent quality and fully furnished houses for 150L that you can get now, and it is a really simple construction in straight lines and planes, but the textures and design make it very special, and its mod too, so any little touches you don't like, you can easily remove. If you dont mind something small, and you want something different, with some genuine atmosphere, take a good look a this, and his other larger skyboxes too.
