Tactical deers!
Pros:
Detailed model
Low script time and memory usage
Various texture options
Affordable
Cons:
Night vision HUD is more or less a gimmick and it's impossible to see anything with them on
Straps can't be removed without making the night vision helmet connector alpha out as well
The cons aren't dealbreakers for me personally but I just am highly annoyed it would require a lot of editing to get something so basic on most other helmets of similar design.
The only way you'll own these goggles
On the plus side, the model looks really good and the goggles are nicely functional. The addition of a hud for the night vision look is a clever addition. On the neutral side of things, I'm not too sure about changing the glare or glow from the lenses, I think a single low glare or one of a realistic (and average) level would simplify things a little. My only complaints are that the night vision goggle hud doesn't use a green overlay to make things seem more realistic, and for very nitpicky things, the hud doesn't seem to show through in all the areas that the goggles realistically allow to be seen, and limit more than they otherwise would.
On the plus side, for 350L$ I can have L-3 GPNVG-18 goggles, something I'd never be able to purchase for real as much as I may want.
