Please note: this is the demo for several colors of the hoverboard. Please make sure you're buying the color you want if you decide to purchase the full version.
This hoverboard is built in futuristic looking mesh, and comes with built in animations, customizeable colors and switchable textures for the high tech glow and the foot pads, and a HUD to adjust all the options.
The following is from the Readme that comes with the hoverboard so that you can get an idea of the options:
Important: If the hoverboard animations are getting interrupted, you may need to disable your AO. It has its own built in AO for hoverboard animations.
Adjusting
-----------
The board is modifiable, and you can stretch it and rotate it any way you like, it won't hurt the scripts! So just use the edit tools to get it sitting properly on your feet. It's meant to attach to the left foot, though, and the animations won't work if you attach it to another point, so please keep that in mind!
The HUD
----------
Here's a quick summary of what the buttons do:
-Pad Glow (top left)-
Sets the level of the glow on the foot pads. Can be off, low, or high.
-Lights (top right)-
Turns point lights on or off - this is the subtle under-light effect you get on the ground. It's fairly subtle, and it may not show up if your graphics levels are set to low. It can be on or off.
-Pad Color (middle)-
Sets the texture of the foot pads. There are 6 options.
-Seam Glow (bottom middle left)-
Sets the level of the glow in the seam around the board, as well as the burner-propulsion-thingies underneath. Can be off, low, or high.
-Glow Pulse (bottom right)-
If you turn this on, the glow on the seams and pads will slowly pulse rather than stay at one setting.
-Glow Color (bottom left)-
Sets the color of the glow in the seams and the bottom burner thingies. To set custom colors, see below.
-Reset HUD-
There is a "Reset HUD" button in the very bottom right. It's useful if things stop working or if you accidentally set the whole thing to one color when you're trying to set a custom color. Just hit the little link, and the HUD will reset itself to the proper colors.
Setting Custom Colors
---------------------------
To put your own custom colors in the HUD you can use the edit tools. Here's how to do it:
1. Right click the HUD and choose "Edit". You can be wearing it when you do this, or you can rez one out on the ground.
2. Click the switch to choose "Select Face" from the menu at the top of the build window.
3. Click on one of the white circles under "Custom" on the HUD itself.
4. Go to the "Textures" tab in the build window, and click on the box labeled "Color".
5. The color picker will now come up and you can adjust it to any color you like.
6. Remember to hit "OK" on the color picker when you're done instead of just closing the window.
7. Now you can close the build window click that button on your HUD to change the glow to your custom color!
**If you mess up and tint the whole thing one color, just hit the [Reset HUD] button in the bottom right of the HUD. That will fix the colors!**
