OLD EXPERIMENTAL ITEM I AM RE-LISTING. YES THESE ARE MEANT TO BE BIG :)
// They are made to fit most human bodies and includes a force joint position animation for the troublesome ones, the shoulders are quite chunky
// Old versions are still included in their own folder
// Textures are full perms to modify
// Recommended to set your arm length to 0 and hand size to 100
// Includes gestures to swing your arms at people :)
// 13/03/23: updated arms to now include a basic animation and some gestures along with a joint position animation which should fix most issues from the previous version, some small adjustments to geometry and weights around shoulders
// Please send me a notecard if you encounter any issues!
could be nice if not this big !
impossible to resize them and not possible to have unrigged parts
no demo to try them before at the time so I lost 50L$
Had to write a new review...
As much as I wanted to get this to work, there were too many problems involved. I tested it out multiple times with both Kemono and Regalia fem and everything is still broken. There is no smooth transitions between shoulder and arm like the ad seems to illustrates. I figured I could just work around this by adding something to the arms of the outfit to cover up the issue, but perhaps these appendages are just too old because no matter which version of arms (within the product) I tried, it was flawed or broken. Perhaps it's more successful on older Regalia masculine bodies or something?...
I think that these arms could stand to have a separate piece for the upper arm that's unrigged and a lower arm + hand that's rigged so there wasn't so much bending and tearing of mesh between the joints. Or perhaps a simple locked animation option with high priority to keep them folded out in front like a real mantis would hold its arms while idle. Oh well. At least it's cheap and creative.
Great mesh, tough AO to find
I love this mesh. It's been tricky to find an AO that'll work nicely with them, though, will update if I find one. I'm looking forward to playing with the textures to match the orchid mantis I'm making!
