This is rain ... like what falls from the sky in RL. Just rez the invisible prim and it will begin to rain. Hit CTRL+ALT+T at the same time on your keyboard to see the prim so you can move it or take it back into your inventory.
Additional instructions:
Here are some simple instructions for the rainmaker.
Type in chat:
/on to start the rain
/off to stop the rain
To remove the item
1. stop the rain by saying: /off,
2. select 'Highlight Transparent ' from the 'View' menu in your menubar. (Or press ctrl-alt-t.)
3. Look for a large (8m size) red sphere, this is the rainmaker
4. Delete it

Excellent! Nice effects and sounds! You can even attach it to your avatar to have all the time to take that perfect pic(and don't have to worry about auto return). Fantastic, get it!
