This is rain ... like what falls from the sky in RL. Just rez the invisible prim and it will begin to rain. Hit CTRL+ALT+T at the same time on your keyboard to see the prim so you can move it or take it back into your inventory.

Here are some simple instructions for the rainmaker.
Type in chat:
/on to start the rain
/off to stop the rain
To remove the item
1. stop the rain by saying: /off,
2. select 'Highlight Transparent ' from the 'View' menu in your menubar. (Or press ctrl-alt-t.)
3. Look for a large (8m size) red sphere, this is the rainmaker
4. Delete it

Very nice but control to turn on and off did not work
I love the fact that we can play in the rain now on our land but when I went to turn on/off per the instructions...it did not work which sucked because if I dont want the rain I have to pull it in and out each time which can be a pain

Love this rain! the sound and all is good! hardly no prims used and the on an off feature is a plus! Oh and it free! WHAT! Thank you so much for the gift!
When Things Are Free One Should Not Complain... BUT
The rain is great. BUT it is incredibly annoying, when a developer lists something as Full Perms, and you get it and it simply is no copy and no modify. The texture and the script and the sound once you put this out, are all no copy and no mod. So this is great for a personal build, but useless for builders or creators. The developer should seriously change the Perms listed here. It is incredibly misleading. However, the rain is great. Am giving this 2 stars not because of the effect (which is excellent) but due to the misleading "Perms" listed in the boxes. BTW, if this was full perms and even at a decent price I would have bought it.
