Render Glow: If enabled, shows the glow effect on any prims that have it.

Firestorm:

ctrl p - graphics tab - rendering tab
under miscellaneous rendering click "render glow"

Adjust glow:
right click object - select edit - go to texture tab - increase the glow amount (you can also change the object color)
