Just wear it and click it! The [ti] Land Survey HUD scans the region and gives you a list of all the parcels in the region, grouped by landowner, with the size of each parcel and total land owned by each owner.
Scanning takes anywhere from about 15 seconds to over a minute. The HUD gives you progress updates while it is scanning as well as a visual progress indicator.
Scan results appear in your local chat but they are sent to the HUD owner only. The HUD does not spam local chat for the people around you.
Landowner and parcel names are presented to you as clickable links using URIs. These links help reduce script load on the server and give you easy access to the owner profile and parcel map location. (Because of Second Life issues, the owner name may sometimes appear as "Loading...", but you can still get the name by clicking the link in the local chat window.)
The HUD does not rez probes or trespass on other residents' land. It works in no script areas, as long as you wear the HUD before you enter the area.

I have been using it extensively in the last couple of weeks as I have been carefully choosing the lands that I own + the ones that I am renting, and it was absolutely indispensable in helping me to find "hidden" lands that were available dirt cheap because nobody knew they were even available. I highly recommend this HUD! AAA+++

I love looking around to see what's available on the mainlands. There are a few landowners I prefer to rent from. I've only used this once, but it shows info that would take me 50 (or 5000) times as long to gather. I've been wanting a tool like this, but didn't even know it. XD Thanks!

If you like searching for land and perhaps identifying abandoned plots this tool is just what you need. To be honest it has blown me away, amazing and a bargain too.
